Steve Hawkins Hall appeals from his conviction, following a trial by jury, of the shooting and robbery of Derrick Chapman. He was sentenced to serve eight to fifteen years for felonious assault, three to fifteen years for robbery, and two to five years for possessing weapons while under a disability. Each of the three counts also carried firearm specifications, which were merged, and which added three years of actual incarceration to his sentence.
