Relator, Elmira Townsend, is informant in a proceeding now pending before respondent, Charles W. Holtcamp, Judge of the Probate Court of the City of St. Louis, to inquire into the sanity of Hugh W. Thomasson. Prior to any hearing therein counsel for Thomasson, appearing specially, filed a motion to quash the return of service upon him and a plea to the jurisdiction of respondent to hear and determine the information.
