Appeal by the defendant from a judgment of the Supreme *866Court, Kings County (Vaughan, J.), rendered August 17, 1995, convicting him of robbery in the first degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence.

Ordered that the judgment is affirmed.

Contrary to the defendant’s contentions, he knowingly and voluntarily waived his right to be present for the second day of voir dire after being warned of the consequences of his refusal to return to the courtroom in accordance with the standards enunciated in People v Parker (57 NY2d 136, 140-141 [1982]).
