This is an appeal from the trial court’s order granting summary judgment in favor of Shell Offshore, Inc., Shell Oil Company, Shell Exploration & Production Company, and Faye Schubert (collectively, “Shell”) on Velocity Databank, Inc. and *607Tom Pelatari d/b/a Velocity Databank, Inc.’s (collectively, “Velocity Databank”) claims for defamation and libel.
