This is an appeal from the decision of the Commissioner of Patents, awarding priority to Prank J. Tone in an interference proceeding relating to the invention of a production of silicon monoxid. It is described by the Commissioner as a “composition of matter containing principally silicon and oxygen, and may be a brown, amorphous, vitreous solid, or a very fine brown powder.”
