Appellants Troy Thompson and Tyrone D. Hall challenge their convictions for unlawful possession of a controlled substance (cocaine), in violation of D.C.Code § 33-541(d) (1998). 1 Charged in the same indictment, which resulted in the convictions of Thompson and Hall, were codefendants Garland J.
