Defendant was convicted of robbery in the first degree. An adjudication that defendant is an habitual criminal accompanied the judgment, which adjudication was based upon the jury’s finding of three prior convictions. (Pen. Code, § 644.) Defendant appeals from the judgment and order denying his motion for a new trial. Sixteen points involving alleged errors in the admission of evidence, in instructions and in procedure and the constitutionality of the habitual criminal statutes are urged by defendant as grounds for reversal.
