Nine jurors returned a verdict for $125,-000 in favor of Marvin S. Martin in his suit against Drs. Gene P. Barbour and E. W. Egle based on charges of negligent operation and treatment for a rectal condition allegedly resulting in chronic and permanent incontinence. Defendants filed a motion to set aside the verdict and render judgment in accordance with their motions for directed verdicts at the close of all the evidence, or in the alternative for a new trial.
