United States v. John Tejeda, United States of America v. Paul Christian
Court of Appeals for the First Circuit
1Opinion of the Court
CYR, Circuit Judge.
At their jury trial, defendants John Teje-da and Paul Christian were convicted of conspiracy to possess 500 or more grams of cocaine, with intent to distribute, in violation of 21 U.S.C. §§ 846 and 841(a)(1), (b)(1)(B)(ii). Christian was convicted of the related substantive offense under 21 U.S.C. § 841(a)(1), (b)(1)(B)(ii), and of possessing one-half ounce of cocaine, with intent to distribute, in violation of 21 U.S.C. § 841(a)(1). Defendants raise several issues on appeal. Tejeda alone challenges the sufficiency of the evidence. We affirm their convictions.
