OPINION

BENAVIDES, Justice.

This is a worker’s compensation case in which appellant sought total and permanent incapacity due to an injury to her lower back.

On May 30, 1980, Maria de los Angeles Garay was injured while working in the course and scope of her employment as a seamstress for Levi Strauss & Company in Laredo, Texas.
