OPINION
OLIVER, Judge.
Thomas Frank Carroll, an inmate of the State Penitentiary where he is serving a sentence of ninety-nine years for murdering his seventy-four-year-old mother, in digent and represented by court-appointed counsel, is before this Court appealing from the judgment of the Criminal Court of Roane County dismissing his petition for the writ of habeas corpus after a full evidentiary hearing.
