This was an action of assumpsit brought by defendant in error in the Circuit Court of Greene County, upon a certificate issued by plaintiff in error stating, in substance, that John H. Stout was entitled to all the rights and privileges of membership in the association, and to participa te in its beneficiary or relief fund to the amount of $2,000, which sum, or such part thereof as may be collected as specified in the constitution and by-laws of the association, should; within sixty days after his death and upon the condition therein mentioned, be paid to his wife, the defendant in error,…
