—In an action, inter alia, to recover damages for medical malpractice, the defendant Ibrahim Hitti appeals, as limited by his brief, from so much of an order of the Supreme Court, Nassau County (Bucaria, J.), dated August 1, 2001, as denied that branch of his motion which was for summary judgment dismissing the complaint insofar as asserted against him as barred by the statute of limitations.
