Plaintiff, United Steelworkers of America, AFL-CIO-CLC (Union), appeals from the entry of judgment in favor of defendant, Commonwealth Aluminum Corporation (Commonwealth), in this action brought pursuant to § 301 of the Labor Management Relations Act (LMRA) of 1947, 29 U.S.C. § 185. The Union filed this action seeking to compel Commonwealth to arbitrate five grievances relating to the denial of group insurance benefits under the grievance and arbitration provisions of the collective bargaining agreement dated May 8, 1995 (1995 Agreement or Agreement).…
