¶1 Keith Albrecht (Keith) appeals from the Order of the District Court of the Eighteenth Judicial District of Gallatin County, Montana, denying his motion to dissolve a Final Order of Protection (FOP) which had previously been granted to his ex-wife Patricia Albrecht (Patricia). The District Court left the FOP in effect, reasoning that under §40-15-204(5), MCA, it did not have any legal authority to terminate the FOP without Patricia’s request for termination.
