This was an action in the Superior Court for Castle County brought by the plaintiff, Mary Alice Creswell, the widow of George Creswell, against the defendant, the Wilmington and Northern Railroad Company, for the recovery of damages for the death of the said George Creswell, alleged to have been occasioned by the negligence of the defendant on the tenth day of April, 1896.
