This suit was brought May 4,1901, by the State of Tennessee, the county of Robertson, and Morgan C. Fitzpatrick, then state superintendent of public instruction for Tennessee, for the use, etc., against H. C. True, a lawyer practicing his profession in Robertson county, Tennessee, C. G. Holman, and others, his official sureties as former chairman of the county court of Robertson county, and I. N. Dorris and others, his official sureties as former trustee of Robertson county, to recover one thousand dollars and interest thereon, paid Mr. True by I. N.
