The defendant, Todd Leavitt, appeals his convictions for two counts of simple assault on a police officer, see RSA 631:2-a (2007); RSA 651:6,1(g) (Supp. 2012), following a jury trial in Superior Court (Vaughan, J.). We affirm.

The jury could have found the following facts. Early on the morning of September 4, 2010, the defendant called 9-1-1 and told the dispatcher that he was suicidal and needed an ambulance.
