— In a medical malpractice action to recover damages for wrongful death and conscious pain and suffering, the defendants New York City Health and Hospitals Corp., Kings County Hospital, Dr. Gholam Jabbari and Dr. Susan Zilkha appeal from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Monteleone, J.), dated April 27, 1984, which is in favor of the plaintiff and against them, upon a jury verdict, in the principal sum of $1,250,000 ($400,000 for conscious pain and suffering and $850,000 for wrongful death).
