— In an action to recover damages for personal injuries and wrongful death based on medical malpractice, the defendant appeals, as limited by his brief, from so much of a judgment of the Supreme Court, Kings County (Bellard, J.), dated January 22, 1985, as, upon a jury verdict, is in favor of the plaintiff and against him in the principal sums of (1) $345,000 on the wrongful death cause of action, (2) $270,000 on the conscious pain and suffering cause of action, and (3) $85,000 on the loss of consortium cause of action.
