Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Ulster County (Vogt, J.), rendered June 4, 1986, convicting defendant upon his plea of guilty of the crime of burglary in the second degree.
*879On September 27, 1985, New Paltz Police Detective Brad Birchell responded to a report that a residence in the Town of New Paltz, Ulster County, had been burglarized.
