¶ 1. A Forrest County jury found Wilbert Crook guilty of aggravated assault for stabbing Gemile Carter with a box cutter. The trial court sentenced Crook to twenty years in the custody of the Mississippi *356Department of Corrections (MDOC) as a habitual offender, without eligibility for parole or probation. Crook now appeals, raising three issues. He claims the trial court erred in refusing jury instruction D-10 on self-defense and allowing certain comments by the prosecution during its closing argument rebuttal.
