Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit

Decided April 19, 2002No. 01-14431PublishedCited by 339 opinions

1Opinion of the Court

RESTANI, Judge:

Plaintiffs-Appellants (hereinafter “Plaintiffs”) appeal the district court’s dismissal of their complaint for lack of personal jurisdiction over several Bahamian corporations as well as the.district court’s order denying reconsideration of that dismissal. Defendants-Appellees request that the court affirm the district court or, in the alternative, dismiss for forum non conve-niens. Because we find that the federal district court in Florida may properly assert personal jurisdiction over defendants-appellees, we REVERSE and REMAND.
