This case turns on the determination of the validity of a zoning ordinance of the City of Macon. In September, 1940, Mrs. Scofield, who owned property on Vineville Avenue in the City of Macon in an area described in the record as being near the confluence of Hardeman Avenue and Forsyth Street, sought from Bishop, the building inspector of the city, a building permit for the erection of three business houses, a theater building, a grocery-store and a drug-store.
