Petitioner, Pollux Marine Agencies, Inc., agent for the owners of the vessel M.V. “CAPTAIN DEMOSTHENES”, moves pursuant to 9 U.S.C. §§ 4 & 5 for an order appointing an arbitrator and directing respondent Louis Dreyfus Corp. to proceed to arbitration in accordance with an arbitration clause contained in a time charter party allegedly entered into on July 30, 1976 by petitioner, as agent for the owners of the M.V. “CAPTAIN DEMOSTHENES,” and respondent as charterer.
