The City of Orlando (“the City”) appeals the final judgment rendered in this wrongful death action brought by Carmen Pinei-ro (“Pineiro”) as personal representative of the estate of her son, Edwin Alvarado. 1 The jury found the City 55% responsible for the death of Alvarado and the Fabre 2 defendant, Kenyon Crowe (“Crowe”), 45% at fault, and final judgment was rendered accordingly.
