The action is brought by respondent, Dora Harris, against A. T. Yan de Yanter, as sheriff of King county, for damages for the conversion of certain cattle taken by him under a writ of replevin, at the instance of one Daniel O’Leary, in an action wherein Daniel O’Leary was plaintiff, and James Harris, the husband of the plaintiff in this action, was defendant.
