OPINION AND ORDER
KING, United States Magistrate Judge.
Plaintiff, a real estate developer and builder, originally asserted claims for breach of contract, quantum meruit and copyright infringement. Upon consent of the parties, this matter was transferred to the undersigned for disposition. 28 U.S.C. § 636(c). A jury returned verdicts for the plaintiff in the amounts of $5,000.00 actual damages for copyright infringement and $10,000.00 for quantum meruit This matter is now before the Court on plaintiffs claim for an award of statutory damages under 17 U.S.C. § 504 in lieu of actual damages on…
