MEMORANDUM OPINION

ROBERT L. JONES, Bankruptcy Judge.

This adversary was brought by Maria Teresa Rodriguez and Jerry Arturo Rodriguez (“Debtors”) against First American Bank (“American”) and JLM Financial Ltd. (“JLM”), seeking the turnover of gar nished funds claimed exempt by Debtors. In conjunction with the turnover action, the court has before it the Debtors’ motion seeking avoidance of an alleged lien held by JLM against the garnished funds.

This court has jurisdiction of this matter under 28 U.S.C. §§ 1384 and 157(b). This is a core proceeding pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 157(b)(1) and (b)(2).…
