OPINION

TOM GRAY, Chief Justice.

William Carroll Robertson and Lester Eugene Robertson filed a petition for a writ of mandamus and an appeal of a judgment dismissing the cause of action for lack of subject matter jurisdiction. The Robertsons complain that the trial court erred by granting a petition in intervention filed by Coryell County, by granting motions filed by Coryell County and Hix to abate a prior judgment, and ultimately dismissing the cause in its entirety.
