This is an appeal by Mrs. Dorothy Cutone from an order of the Circuit Court of Hancock County holding that she had abandoned her right to quarantine in her deceased husband’s estate. Quarantine is the right of a surviving spouse to occupy and enjoy his or her former marital residence, or mansion house, until such time as dower is formally assigned. * The appellant’s specific assignment of error, that the evidence presented did not support a finding of abandonment, raises what we believe is a more fundamental question of first impression, that question being: What are the…
