Indicted for murder, found guilty without capital .punishment, and sentenced to imprisonment, at hard labor for life, defendant appeals.

In an assignment of errors filed here, it is complained that the minutes of the court do not show the presence of the accused at important stages of the trial. This is true as far as the minutes, as first transcribed by the clerk, read in open court and attested by the signature .of the trial judge, are concerned.
