John A. Cochrane, a Minnesota attorney and Chapter 7 debtor in bankruptcy, appeals from a final order entered in the United States District Court 1 for the District of Minnesota affirming a decision of the United States Bankruptcy Court 2 for the District of Minnesota (hereinafter the bankruptcy court) granting summary judgment in favor of Tudor Oaks Limited Partnership (Tudor Oaks) and holding as a matter of law that Coch-rane’s debt to Tudor Oaks, which has been reduced to a final state court judgment, is nondisehargeable in bankruptcy pursuant to 11 U.S.C. §…
