After a trial in the District Court for • the District of New Jersey, appellant Peter Weber was convicted on six counts of an eight-count indictment which charged him with violations of the TaftHartley Act, 29 U.S.C. § 186(b),1 and of the Hobbs Act, 18 U.S.C. § 1951.2 counts one, two, three and four charged Weber accepted cash payments from the H. C.
