This appeal is from the order denying plaintiff’s motion for a new trial in an action for the recovery of damages for personal injuries sustained as the result of a collision between plaintiff’s and defendant’s automobiles.

The accident occurred on the morning of October 10, 1941, in Minneapolis at the intersection of Spruce Place, which runs in a general northerly and southerly direction, and West Grant street, which runs in a general easterly and westerly direction, and crosses Spruce Place at right angles.
