I. Introduction
Don C. LeFebre brought this action against Westinghouse Electric Corporation Management Disability Benefits Plan (“Plan”), Westinghouse Electric Corporation (“Westinghouse”), Metropolitan Life Insurance Company (“Metropolitan”), and The Equitable Life Assurance Society of the United States (“Equitable”), alleging violations of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (“ERISA”), 29 U.S.C. § 1001, et seq.
