Plaintiffs appeal from an order of the circuit court of Cook County dismissing their amended complaint. Plaintiffs, three owners of residences in the Winston Knolls subdivision of the Village of Hoffman Estates, commenced this suit individually and on behalf of all other present and former owners in the subdivision. Plaintiffs sought compensatory and punitive damages for the alleged improper wiring of their homes.
