On October 2, 1936, the Circuit Court of Marlboro County, upon the application of David Donald Carroll, plaintiff in the above action, appointed a receiver for the securities deposited with the insurance commissioner of South Carolina by the Pacific Mutual Life Insurance Company of California. A temporary restraining order also issued from the Marlboro County Court, enjoining and restraining any and all other persons having claims against the insurance company by virtue of policies of insurance from proceeding in any other manner…
