On June 20, 1995, Norfolk & Western Railway Company (“Defendant”) filed Post Trial Motions requesting this court to set aside the jury verdict, entered in the above referenced case, and enter summary judgment on behalf of the defendant or grant a new trial on the issue of damages or liability, or both, or in the alternative to grant an order of remittitur, based on what defendant considered an excessive jury verdict.
