Defendant, Nancy Aloha Alengi, appeals from the judgment of conviction entered on jury verdicts finding her guilty of possession of a schedule II controlled substance, § 18-18-405(l)(a), C.R.S.2003; manufacture of a schedule II controlled substance, § 18 — 18— 405(2)(a)(I), C.R.S.2003; and special offender for possession of a deadly weapon, § 18-18-407(l)(f), C.R.S.2003. Defendant’s principal contention on appeal is that the trial court erred in concluding that she impliedly waived her constitutional right to assistance of counsel.
