James Meridyth, a convicted drug trafficker, has twice moved to reduce his prison sentence based on retroactive amendments to his Sentencing Guideline range. The district court partially granted both of Meridyth’s motions. The first time, the district court reduced his sentence by one-sixth. The district court cited Meridyth’s extensive criminal history and disciplinary infractions in prison as reasons for not reducing his sentence further. Meridyth appealed and we affirmed the sentence-reduction order.
