Error to judgment of corporation court of Danville, in an action wherein the Planters National Bank of Richmond was plaintiff, and T. J. Corbin was defendant. On the 13th of July, 1887, one S. F. Cobbs, in the city of New York, executed his promissory note for $3,000, payable ninety days after date, to his own order, at his office, 48 Broad street, in that city. It was admitted that by the laws of New York this note was negotiable.
