STEPHAN, Judge.

Cleveland Jackson appeals his conviction, after a three-day jury trial, of one count of illegal possession of a schedule II controlled substance, phencyclidine, Section 195.020, RSMo 1986 (repealed 1989). Additionally, Jackson appeals the denial of his Rule 29.15 motion for post-conviction relief, after an evidentiary hearing. We have consolidated Jackson’s two appeals, pursuant to Rule 29.15(Z). We affirm in part, reverse in part and remand for further proceedings consistent with this opinion.
