James Steele (“Steele”) appeals his conviction following a jury trial for first-degree domestic assault, pursuant to Section 565.072 RSMo. 1 We affirm.

Statement of the Facts

Steele and Victim were in a romantic relationship when an altercation occurred on July 3, 2007, which resulted in Steele’s conviction for first-degree domestic assault, a class A felony.
