OPINION OF THE COURT

POMEROY, Justice.

Appellant, Alvin Joyner, was convicted by a jury of murder in the first degree and several related offenses. 1 The charges arose from an assault by appellant and others on a police guard house in Cobbs Creek Park in the City of Philadelphia during which one police officer was killed and another wounded. In this appeal, 2 Joyner ad vanees six assignments of error.
