Appellant, Bank of De Soto, sued the Beaumont-Port Arthur Company and T. S. Reed, W. S. Davidson, John L. Keith, C. T. Heisig, A. L. Williams, George W. Carroll, I. D. Polk, T. A. Robinson, S. H. Van Wormer and D. Woodhead, to recover a balance due on two drafts dated December 16 and December 19, 1904, drawn by W. C. Willis on the Beaumont-Port Arthur Company, and secured by a lien on cotton, bought with the proceeds of the drafts by Willis as agent of said company.
