In an action to recover damages for breach of a contract for the sale of real property, the defendants appeal from a judgment of the Supreme Court, Suffolk County (Lama, J.), entered October 17, 1989, which, after a nonjury trial on the issue of damages, awarded the plaintiff $982,363.84, which includes interest, attorneys’ fees of $89,327.50, and disbursements.

Ordered that the judgment is modified, on the law and the facts, by reducing the amount of attorneys’ fees awarded the *395plaintiff from $89,327.50 to $64,327.50; as so modified, the judgment is affirmed, without costs or disbursements,…
