This appeal involves a tenant who was injured when she tripped over a raised sprinkler that was part of the automatic irrigation system of the apartment complex where she lived. The tenant filed suit in the Circuit Court for Davidson County against the owners of the apartments and the company that maintained the irrigation system, alleging that they left the sprinkler head in its raised position after performing routine maintenance.
