This case presents the Court with the unhappy task of deciding whether Floyd R. Baber, a twenty-one-year veteran associate circuit judge, should be removed from office. This proceeding was initiated when the Commission on Retirement, Removal and Discipline filed an eleven-count notice of hearing alleging that Judge Baber is not competent to handle the duties of the office of associate circuit judge.
