KAZEN, District Judge.
Pending before the Court is a Motion for Summary Judgment filed by Defendants Herb Strickland, Tommy Wilson, Brig Marmolejo and the County of Hidalgo, Texas, on the grounds that the cause of action alleged against them is barred by the statute of limitations. Art. 5526, V.A.T.S. The events complained of occurred on May 1, 1977. Plaintiff’s Original Complaint was filed on April 27, 1979, within the two-year limitations period.
